Together with the bees are the bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), which are their cousins, are also part of the group of aphids and necessary for the protection of the environment. Working bees that born in spring, live about 50 days, and those that born in autumn, spend in the hive the winter in the hope of giving them relief in the spring to their new companions.

The process of eggs maturation will be different depending on whether the egg is queen (16 days), drone (24 days) or worker (21 days).

In the case of the worker bee, the first three days is in the form of an egg, to pass to larva until the eighth day, in which the cell is sealed until it becomes a pupa on the fourteenth day and finally born when it reaches the 21 days.
